Condolences

Isn’t it awkward but at the same time magically fascinating? Only through one occasion of someone’s life, one at the end of planet can be impressed and get infused by lots of emotions, motives coming together.
It’s because of oneness. 🙏
I had to experience indirectly by one young man, whose father suddenly passed by.
It’s after all my own feelings, emotions, perceptions and I see myself how many thoughts and memories go around.
And today on my second child Toni’s birthday, I couldn’t help but draw this painting first, before I bake his favourite muffins.

I once hold a single exhibition in Karlsruhe, 2008, and at that time this kind of drawing arose in me. And on venissage I sang this song 과수원길, which I also used to sing for my children as lullaby.

Der Weg im Garten

Entlang des Weges im Garten
blühten die Akazienbäume schön und voll.
Weiße Blätter flogen wie Schneeflöckchen.
Durch einen leichten Wind roch
der süße Duft der Blumen.
Zweisam ohne Worte saßen sie da und
lächelten zueinander.
Der Weg im Garten damals,
wo die Akazienbäume weiß und voll
blühten.

the path in the garden

along the path in the garden
acacia flowers were blooming full.
white leaves flew like snowflakes.
by a light wind smelled
the sweet scent of flowers.
together without any word
we sat there and smiled to each other.
the path in the garden back then
where white acacia flowers were blooming full.
